Tomaž Boškin, born 22.9.1995, comes from the Istrian village Koromači-Boškin (Slovenia). He started with music at age eight, when his father decided to buy a diatonic accordion. Initially, his first steps started with Mitja Kodarin, who plays in the renowned ensemble Ne me Jugat. Then he continued his learning with accordionist Ales Segulin,  who plays in the ensemble Primorski fantje, and many others. His longtime mentor and professor then became Dean Delguisto, who is currently finishing chromatic accordion at the Royal Academy in Denmark and making concerts throughout the world.

Year later, Tomaž decided to go to the music school because he wanted to be versed in theory and other instruments as well. He started learning the tenor trombone with renowned Professor Albert Kolbl and theory with Professor Irena Čok and Vanja Gregorič, later with Sindija Šiško. In the ninth grade of primary school Tomaž went to the art gymnasium, namely the direction of music and singing. He took the entrance exam and enrolled. In the first year of  school, beside the trombone and accordion he decided to take singing lessons with the renowned Professor Tanja Grlica.
